Perfect Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
- This chocolate chip banana bread is an easy homemade recipe that uses pantry staples and requires no mixer.
- The loaf is especially moist and flavorful because it uses ripe bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate chips.
- The recipe calls for 3 medium ripe bananas, 2 large eggs, 1/2 cup melted and cooled butter or oil, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
- Dry ingredients are flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- The oven should be preheated to 350°F (175°C), and a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan should be greased and lined with parchment paper.
- Wet ingredients are mixed into the dry ingredients just until combined to avoid overmixing.
- Half of the chocolate chips are folded into the batter, and the rest are sprinkled on top before baking.
- Bake the bread for 55–60 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- After baking, the bread should cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before being turned out onto a wire rack.
- It can be served warm or at room temperature, making it a good breakfast or snack option.
