Greek Yogurt Tzatziki | HMR Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups plain Greek nonfat yogurt (we love Fage brand)
  • 2/3 cup English cucumber shredded
  • 3 Tbs fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
  • 2 large garlic cloves minced
  • 2-3 Tbs fresh dill chopped
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

Method

  1. Step 1

    Grate the cucumber on a box grater, then gently squeeze out the excess water with a paper towel or cheesecloth.

  2. Step 2

    Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix gently until combined.

  3. Step 3

    Taste and adjust seasonings with more salt, pepper, lemon juice, or dill as needed.

  4. Step 4

    Chill for 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
