This is one of those “field manual” books that founders either love or hate, because it forces them to operationalize. The point is simple: the growth stage is where companies break, mostly because the operating system never got upgraded (what worked from 0 to 1 rarely works for 1 to 10). The tools here are system-heavy (priorities, rhythms, execution discipline), but that’s the point: you can’t scale on vibes. If you’re past the inspirational phase (pre-seed/seed) and into “we need this to work every week” (Series A+), this is genuinely useful.
