Parque Florestal do Pico das Pedras - All about camping in Madeira

The Pico das Pedras camping area is in the Pico das Pedras Forest Park in Laurissilva, about 910 meters above sea level.
The park is in a transition zone between exotic forest and Madeira’s traditional Laurissilva forest.
It has a picnic area, toilets, and car parking.
The park is adapted for people with physical and visual disabilities.
An accessible trail called “A path for everyone” starts there and takes about 45 minutes to walk.
The area is part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve designated in June 2011 for its biodiversity and sustainable use.
